RiverTech will maintain and sustain the cloud-based system for the Military Working Dog Training Squadron, which is used by the DoD and Federal Agencies

Herndon, VA — 91桃色 today announced that its subsidiary, RiverTech, has been awarded a contract by the Air Force Security Forces Center to provide IT maintenance and sustainment of the Working Dog Management System (WDMS) developed for the DoD. The estimated value of the contract is $9 million over six years, if all options are exercised.

The contract was awarded under the OASIS Small Business (SB) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. RiverTech will provide IT support for the WDMS main system as well as the WDMS software sustainment lab, both of which are cloud-hosted environments. 

The 341st Training Squadron provides training to military working dogs used in patrol, drug and explosive detection, and specialized mission functions for the DoD. With over 20,000 records, the WDMS tracks the full lifecycle of the identity, medical status, training, certification, operational assignment, and disposition of military working dogs that have been evaluated, acquired, and deployed.
